About Us

Christopher Robert John Currie left Ontario for Vancouver Island in 2004 after a thirteen year career in software development. In 2004 and 2005 he drove east to Halifax and began an eight month westward trek, visiting family homes, monuments, churches and libraries along the way with a laptop and scanners. Thousands of images were scanned along with books, church and government records, and letters.

Already proficient with Photoshop, careful repair, correction and reproduction of these scanned images became and remains a passion.
